SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Facilities Program Coordinator / Senior Project Manager, Electrical Engineer to lead complex Academic and Hospital projects from planning through close-out.

Reporting to the Director of Design and Construction, the role requires coordinating designers, contractors, and hospital staff, managing budgets, schedules, and RFQ/RFP processes, and ensuring compliance with life safety and building standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide oversight for Academic and Hospital Projects through all phases (planning, scheduling, implementation).
• Define and develop project goals based on client needs.
• Meet with Hospital/University admins, architects, engineers and consultants to align scope and goals.
• Monitor design/construction drawings to ensure standards are met.
• Coordinate schedules of design and construction activities, minimizing operational disruption.
• Initiate ICRA and enforce Interim Life Safety Measures as required.
• Prepare documentation for RFQ, RFP, and bid documents with Contracts and Procurement.
• Manage on-time completion within scope and budget and track project costs.
• Coordinate with Facilities Operations for interface with existing systems.
• Oversee budget, funding, POs, change orders, and payments through close-out.
