Job summary

Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) seeks a Project Manager II to join the SQRC branch at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

The role drives planning, execution, and delivery of SE and system integration projects, overseeing repair/replacement of fielded systems and coordinating with engineering, logistics, and production teams. You will develop project artifacts, coordinate with government stakeholders, and manage IPT governance, milestones, and status briefings while ensuring DoD

Qualifications

• Requires MS Project, MS Office Suite, Jira, Confluence proficiency.
• Leads system engineering and system integration programs in DoD or federal environments.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with senior government stakeholders.
• Experience in scheduling, budgeting, risk, and performance metrics for projects.
• Strong understanding of DoD system engineering and integration processes.
• Excellent written and oral communication for executive briefings.
• Ability to identify and resolve operational, process, and performance inefficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of SE and SI projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and production teams for timely repair/replacement.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers, and metrics.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, technical leads, and contractors.
• Manage IPT governance, milestone reviews, and status briefings.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Lead resource planning, workload prioritization, and task assignment.
• Develop BOMs and track materials for SE/SI and fielded repair.
• Prepare, submit, and track Work Orders for complex manufacturing.
• Track purchase orders and report delivery issues to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and SAIC PM standards and reporting.
• Utilize PM tools like MS Project, Jira, Confluence.
