Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington seeks a Project Manager – Design and Construction to lead capital projects from programming through close-out. You will ensure schedules, budgets, and Owner’s Requirements are met, coordinating with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field with five years' experience (two in PM), and experience with projects over $60 million.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, or closely related field with five years of experience, including two years in project management.
Experience with projects exceeding $60 million.
Master's degree preferred in architecture, construction management, or related field.
Licensed architect or engineer and eight years of experience, including five years in project management, preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

Manage construction-phase projects to keep them on schedule and within budget and aligned with contract requirements and stakeholder needs.
Coordinate programming and design-phase activities, manage scope, and oversee design deliverables within budget and schedule.
Serve as primary point of contact for projects, coordinating communication among teams, stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
Assist with in-house projects as workload allows and prepare executive-level project updates.
