Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks a Mid-Career Project Manager to support AEDC at Arnold AFB, TN. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and earned value reporting for multiple Defense projects, coordinating with supervisors and customers to keep programs on track.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and 5 years of PM experience in engineering or tech settings. Attend to PPE and maintain strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, Business with 5 years’ experience as a project manager.
• 2 Years’ experience with budget management, financial forecasting, and controlling project costs to ensure projects stay within budget.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret level security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for employment at AEDC.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, and timelines for each project.
• Cost and Schedule Management: Manage workloads, oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery.
• Earned Value Analysis: Track earned value metrics to monitor project progress and performance relative to cost and schedule.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify, document, and manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies and elevate as needed.
• Resource Coordination: Plan and allocate resources effectively across various projects.
• Stakeholder Communication: Report monthly on project status, highlighting progress and budget status.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest process improvements.
