Southern Search is seeking a Senior Project Manager based in Tampa, FL to lead complex industrial and data center projects for a respected national contractor. You will drive preconstruction through closeout, collaborating with owners and trade partners while advancing into a Director-track path.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years managing industrial or commercial construction projects ($20M–$50M+)
• Experience with large warehouse, data centers, mission-critical, or complex industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of contracts, drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, logistics plans, and scopes.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, design teams, and subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractor buyout, RFIs, submittals, and design coordination.
• Manage punch lists, commissioning, and turnover.
• Track budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete.
• Review and approve pay applications.
• Manage owner and subcontractor change orders.
