Job summary

A leading infrastructure consultancy in the United States is seeking an experienced project manager to lead design planning and coordinate project efforts. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in managing design and construction projects with a strong understanding of building design and construction methods. This role includes overseeing multi-disciplinary teams, managing scopes of work, and ensuring clear communication among all parties involved.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing design and/or construction projects.
• Experience with data center projects or similar complex facilities.
• Strong understanding of building design and construction methods.

Base Pay Range

$172,000.00/yr - $192,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Lead design planning and kickoff workshops with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage design reviews and large-scale coordination sessions
• Develop scopes of work and manage design services contracts
• Build and guide multi-disciplinary design teams
• Oversee project cost, schedule, scope, and reporting
• Ensure clear and timely communication across all parties
• Manage design changes and related impacts
• Coordinate design deliverables with procurement and construction teams
• Ensure accurate and timely release of engineering documents

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field
• Professional licensure (PE, RA, etc.) strongly preferred or 15+ years of equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience managing design and/or construction projects
• Strong understanding of building design + construction methods
• Experience leading project teams and managing multiple workstreams
• Skilled in writing scopes of work and reviewing technical documents
• Familiarity with building codes, permitting, and regulatory processes
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience with data center projects is a strong plus, but similar complex facilities are also valued, including: Hospitals or healthcare facilities, Large commercial high-rise buildings, Laboratories or clean rooms, Manufacturing plants / fabs, Power generation or high-power infrastructure
