Job summary

Prince Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a technically complex Advanced Technology project in the Augusta, GA area. You will manage the full project lifecycle, including budget, schedule, and interface with owners and subcontractors.

You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, drive risk assessments, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in construction project management and 5+ years’ experience in managing personnel are required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field is highly regarded.
• Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage and retain relationships while delegating tasks effectively.
• Ability to identify, track and manage project risk.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of the project, including construction, budget, and cash management for a single assigned project to ensure compliance with the project contract and owner needs.
• Develops and manages the project schedule, pay estimates, project procedures, staffing requirements, and equipment resources needed for timely production.
• Assesses initial project contract and supporting documents for completeness; resolves specification, contract conflicts, and scheduling issues with the owner.
• Oversees engineering and scheduling teams to identify and negotiate changes; engages Area Manager for support.
• Creates and presents monthly cost and revenue forecasts and reports to leadership.
• Maintains relationships with supporting departments and the project owner to support the work plan and payment schedule.
• Acts as main contact for third-party stakeholders including landowners, local businesses, and government agencies.
