Job summary

Prince Contracting is seeking an Equipment Manager in Augusta, GA to oversee purchase, rental, inventory, maintenance, dispatch, and billing for project equipment fleets. This full-time role supports an Advanced Technology project across data center market segments.

You will source services, supervise maintenance teams, negotiate contracts, monitor utilization, and drive cost controls while aligning with corporate policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Heavy Equipment Management experience required.
• Mechanical maintenance and repairs experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• EMS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of licensing, registration and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Sources services, materials, maintenance providers and heavy equipment for projects.
• Supervises and directs activities for heavy equipment and maintenance personnel.
• Negotiates contracts, purchase agreements and maintenance service agreements.
• Manages equipment functions including maintenance scheduling and delivery.
• Arranges repairs and transportation of equipment to job sites.
• Analyze equipment needs and approve repair expenditures as needed.
• Monitor utilization and cost coding for cost control.
• Lead inventory procedures and tracking for yards.
• Recommend disposal and rental terminations based on utilization.
• Support corporate policies and values.
