Job summary

Display Craft Manufacturing, an Obrist America company, is seeking a Project Manager to guide complex custom millwork and interior build-outs from kickoff to completion. You will coordinate designers, engineers, procurement, and production, ensuring clear communication and on-schedule delivery.

You will manage scope, costs, scheduling, and documentation while maintaining strong client relations. This hybrid role requires onsite presence in Baltimore with one remote day per week and a focus on

Qualifications

• Project management experience in custom manufacturing or construction environments.
• Strong ability to coordinate across designers, engineers, procurement, and production.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, schedules, and budgets and manage change orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex custom millwork and store fixture projects from kickoff to closeout.
• Serve as primary communications hub for customers, internal teams, designers, vendors, and installers.
• Maintain real-time project updates, schedules, documentation, and follow-ups for all stakeholders.
• Navigate change orders with scope clarification, cost/schedule impact, and approvals.
• Collaborate with engineering to finalize designs, shop drawings, and production packages.
• Coordinate with purchasing and production to align materials and resources with project demands.
• Identify risks early and resolve issues to protect quality, budget, and timeline.
• Manage project meetings, action items, and internal handoffs.
• Contribute to continual improvements in PM processes and reporting.
