Job summary

Chesapeake Search Partners partners with a respected Baltimore-area homebuilder to recruit an experienced Project Manager who will oversee the successful completion of custom residential projects. You will coordinate clients, subs, vendors, and field teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with exceptional quality and client service.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction project management for custom homebuilding or high-end residential work.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, building codes, and drawings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, budgets, subs, and priorities.
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, subcontractor buyout, and change orders.
• Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Buildertrend or similar PM software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple custom homebuilding projects from planning to completion on time and within budget.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules, coordinating resources to keep projects on track.
• Interpret drawings, specs, and technical docs to ensure accurate execution of requirements.
• Maintain organized project files, schedules, and daily field reports per procedures.
• Coordinate clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel on active jobsites.
