Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan, manage, and execute lifecycle projects from inception to implementation. You will develop plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver solutions on time and within budget to support service innovations and process enhancements.

You will lead project teams, manage budgets, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes and adherence to defined requirements.

Qualifications

Experience leading and/or managing small projects or portions of larger projects.
Experience participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects.
Solid knowledge of project lifecycles, methodologies, and business requirements analysis.
Experience working with staff, management, and vendors at all levels.
Knowledge of contracts, scope, risk, and language.
Proficiency with PCs and office software including project management apps.
Strong planning, organization, and problem solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Defines, develops and executes project plans, including scope, activities, cost estimates and schedules.
Manages projects from inception through implementation and transition.
Directs and leads project teams with work plans, milestones, deliverables and training.
Manages project budgets, including risk and change control.
Identifies, communicates and resolves cross-organizational issues impacting projects.
Keeps stakeholders informed with status reports and delivers on customer expectations.
