Job summary

MGAC is seeking a Project Manager for Critical Environments in New York. You will lead high-visibility data center and hospital projects, acting as owner’s representative. Expect on-site involvement 4-5 days weekly and opportunities to grow in a boutique, client-focused firm.

Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, and budget; mentoring teams; and driving risk management while upholding the client’s vision. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction project management experience.
• 2+ years managing critical environment projects (data centers, labs, hospitals).
• MEP experience in ground-up construction.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent in a construction-related discipline.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage the full scope of projects while coordinating components of others.
• Mentor and lead teams while managing schedule, scope, and budget.
• Lead project risk management, contingency planning and recovery planning.
• Achieve and maintain the client’s vision as a trusted partner.
