Intertek is hiring a Senior CMT Field Technician in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on field testing of soils, concrete, and related materials, with observations and data collection under general supervision.

The technician reads plans, interprets results, and communicates findings to clients and project teams. You will perform project observations on civil and commercial construction, with shift flexibility and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) and Special Inspections.

Responsibilities

• Utilize plans, drawings, specifications and diagrams.
• Perform field testing and project observations with interpretation of results.
• Communicate findings to clients and project teams, attending meetings as needed.
