Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Project Manager to join our Construction Engineering & Inspection team in Miami. The role leads project delivery from pre-construction to finalization, with a focus on cost, schedule, and quality control for heavy highway, bridges, and related infrastructure.

The candidate will drive discipline marketing, manage client relationships, and oversee staffing and project controls, ensuring compliance with safety and FDOT

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction engineering/inspection experience with FDOT (or similar)
• Strong proposal development and budgeting skills
• Proven leadership and staff development abilities
• Excellent communication and client relationship management
• Knowledge of safety programs and FDOT prequalification requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to achieve financial and growth goals for the discipline.
• Oversee productivity, profitability, client satisfaction, and quality of work.
• Develop and lead marketing and business development with the marketing team.
• Evaluate proposals, budgets, and contract execution.
• Monitor budgets, billing, and collections.
• Manage staffing utilization and succession planning.
• Mentor and coach staff; conduct performance evaluations and salary discussions.
• Collaborate with partner firms and manage subconsultant contracts.
