Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in Miami seeks a Senior Project Manager/Project Manager to lead the Construction Engineering & Inspection team. The role oversees projects from pre-construction to finalization, ensuring cost control, schedule adherence, and quality.

Responsibilities include driving financial targets, mentoring staff, pursuing business development, and coordinating with safety and FDOT prequalification teams. A PE is highly desired; the package offers strong benefits and growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction engineering/inspection experience with FDOT required.
• 7+ years of experience with proposals, budgets, and financial management to run a team.
• PE license is highly desired.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for job communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to achieve financial and growth goals.
• Manage productivity, profitability, client satisfaction, and quality of work.
• Develop and lead discipline marketing and business development strategies.
• Evaluate proposals, contracts, budgets, and billing processes.
• Monitor backlog, staff utilization, and succession planning.
• Mentor staff and manage recruitment and employee relations.
• Collaborate with other firms and manage subconsultant contracts.
• Ensure FDOT prequalification compliance and material testing requirements.
