Job summary

CB&I is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex projects within the USA, reporting to the Director of Operations. You will oversee execution, schedule, cost control, safety, and quality while coordinating with Construction, Supply Chain, HR, HSE, and Finance teams.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, risk management, and client communication to deliver projects on time and within budget across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Typically 12-15+ years since first degree and 10+ years of relevant experience in Project Engineering, Construction Management or Project Controls.
3+ years Project Site Engineering or Construction Management role; professional engineering degree preferred.
Broad knowledge of construction methods, equipment, engineering processes and fabrication.
Familiarity with estimating, supply chain, project controls and contract management.

Responsibilities

Manage projects in a single country or sub-region, with contracts up to $20–$100M.
Own financial and technical success of projects and ensure compliance with policies.
Maintain client relationships and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Forecast project performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Understand contract scope, terms, and project objectives; manage risks.
