Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking a Project Manager 2 to coordinate and deliver projects leveraging construction practices and technical expertise. You will secure and manage work for new and existing clients, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and maintain strong client relationships.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, independent decision making, and effective communication with stakeholders to advance AET’s mission of delivering high-quality engineering solutions and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; DOT if required.
• Excellent communication skills capable of presenting to large groups.
• Ability to work independently in the field and with project teams.
• Experience using Microsoft Office; ERP experience required.
• Proven ability to cultivate client relationships and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scope and high-risk projects from proposal to completion.
• Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Lead inter-office and inter-department project teams.
• Determine cost structure, adjust fee schedules, and provide estimates.
• Review, draft, and negotiate sub-consultant contracts per policy.
• Ensure project documentation and contractual requirements are met.
• Manage project financial status and monthly invoicing.
• Maintain client communication and report project risk.
