Job summary

Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) is seeking a Project Manager 3 for Construction Administration within the Capital Planning Department in Boston. The role supervises the Construction Administration team and manages MSBA-funded capital projects from design to close-out.

The incumbent oversees funding agreements, amendments, audits, cash flow, and project controls, while leading meetings and ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Five to ten years of experience in construction, project management, or related disciplines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and travel occasionally.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MSBA-funded capital projects from design through close-out.
• Monitor funding agreements, amendments, budgets, cash flow and change orders.
• Lead project meetings and review design, budget, and schedule for funded projects.
• Ensure contract compliance with MSBA policies during construction.
• Collaborate with the Construction Administration team to improve processes.
