Senior Project Manager – Construction Management (Anticipated Opening)

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team, supporting large-scale TI and ground-up construction projects for key clients in the San Francisco South Bay area.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, capable of taking initiative and driving activities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chain to ensure project compliance.
• Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to prevent schedule slips.
• Verify the utilization of effective project governance, processes, and systems.
• Ensure best practices are applied across all projects.
• Produce formal project status reports and other necessary documentation.
• Monitor multiple construction projects to ensure adherence to design standards.
• Manage interfaces between suppliers through trackers and reviews.
• Facilitate project information flow via meetings and communications.
• Forecast and update key project milestones.
• Manage local design teams per project criteria.
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field.
• Offer expertise in cost control, value engineering, and constructability.
• Review status reports, drawings, timelines, and costs from architects, contractors, and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain excellent client relationships, exploring new opportunities.
• Advise project teams on strategies to meet client and business objectives.
• Capture key project knowledge and learnings.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Recognize business development opportunities, including cross-selling.
• Adhere to SOX controls where applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field, with PMP certification.
• Membership in relevant professional organizations.
• 5-7 years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing Tenant Improvement (TI) projects in Commercial Real Estate and Healthcare sectors preferred.
• Willingness to work in our San Francisco office and onsite as needed.
• Experience managing stakeholders and work stream managers.
• Strong organizational and management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and project management tools.
• Experience working in the US, particularly the California Bay Area.

The salary range for this full-time role is $130K-$160K per year, depending on experience. This range reflects base salary only and may vary based on qualifications. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to adjust compensation accordingly.
