Senior Manager, Projects

Directs senior-level project management services on assigned JLL client projects/regions/practices, providing superior client service.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute project-specific and client-driven goals, schedules, budgets, strategies, and detailed assumptions with methodology for accomplishing and managing goals and objectives.
2. Establish and maintain project goals and success criteria that meet both JLL and client needs.
3. Build and maintain rapport with client representatives, ensuring full understanding of project scopes, outside business influences, deliverables, performance standards, and relevant criteria.
4. Coordinate due diligence efforts on behalf of the internal team, project partners, clients, and/or end users, maintaining all appropriate documentation.
5. Develop a detailed project budget based on historical and market data with clearly defined assumptions.
6. Act as the primary senior-level contact with the client throughout the project duration.
7. Guide the client and team through the design implementation process, including conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documentation and signoff.
8. Develop and maintain Master Project Schedules to ensure project completion within planned timeframes.
9. Prepare RFPs for vendor and contractor services and manage the contractor and vendor selection process.
10. Develop procedures for distribution, receipt, opening, leveling, and awarding of projects and services.
11. Facilitate initiation of critical project meetings and coordination exercises with internal staff, stakeholders, and external users for clear communication of responsibilities.
12. Manage project performance against schedules, milestones, and critical path items across multiple projects.
13. Manage vendor and project team performance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and client expectations.
14. Identify, manage, and mitigate areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risks, reporting to Management Committee and Region Manager.
15. Contribute to the refinement of best practices and standards of excellence for the business unit and JLL overall.
16. Assist in training and developing team members in firm procedures, methodology, and practices for successful project implementation.
17. Ensure Team Lead is fully informed of all project, internal, and client issues affecting the firm's reputation.
18. Assist the local PDS team in meeting AGM targets regionally and nationally.
19. Directly responsible for enhancing team revenues through maintaining and expanding client relationships and developing new ones.
20. Communicate available products and service offerings; contribute to new product and service development.
21. Maintain account receivables at levels consistent with planned working capital charges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar role.
• Ability to communicate analyzed data effectively to achieve project goals.
• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, furniture, and space planning concepts.
• Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with executive-level clients and team members.
• Ability to manage all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, submittals, and change orders.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and MS Project.
• Some knowledge of EV chargers, including specs, code, electrical requirements, and lead times, is preferred.
