Job summary

FN America, LLC is seeking a Project Manager III to lead high-complexity, cross-functional projects—ranging from new commercial products to law enforcement initiatives. You will drive schedules, budgets, risk management, and PM methodologies while mentoring junior PMs.

This role requires seven years in complex PM, a PMP, and a BA/BS in engineering, business management, or related field. Travel to facilities is expected in a typical office setting in Columbia, SC.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in complex project management in a cross-functional teaming environment developing products for commercial or military applications.
• Seven years of experience leading project teams (may be concurrent).
• PMP certification is required and valuable for the role.

Responsibilities

• Manages new product development, industrialization, CAPEX, or business-related projects of the highest complexity.
• Develops project schedules and work plans using appropriate project management tools and methodologies, while ensuring accountability for timely delivery across the project team.
• Manages strategic initiatives as assigned. Develops processes and new ways of working for emerging business opportunities.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers IIs or other contributors in project management practices.
• Mitigates risks, meets budget, and meets project cost targets with little to no supervision.
• Evaluates complex trade-offs and makes or recommends decisions based on known facts and experience.
• Contributes to the Project Management methodology and mindset throughout the organization.
