Job summary

Tutor Perini O&G Joint Venture seeks a Project Manager to lead the Manhattan Jail Project in New York, overseeing schedule, subcontractors, and cost reporting. This role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management background and a track record managing large builds.

You will coordinate with the Sr. Project Manager, ensure compliant onboarding, draft notices, monitor changes, and maintain JDE entries while keeping owner- and team communications clear and timely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of building construction experience.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience on multiple construction projects.
• Experience on projects valued at $100M+ for a general contractor preferred.
• Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Review project schedule for compliance in subcontractor onboarding.
• Create and issue subcontractor commitments with insurance and approvals.
• Report and issue owner monthly progress reports.
• Maintain accurate quantities in timecards and cost coding.
• Manage all T&M processes per owner or subcontractor requirements.
• Maintain JDE Quantity Book input, monitoring and updates.
• Draft letters/notices for Senior Project Manager review.
• Review owner notices and document impacts with the project team.
• Develop and manage contract provisions with subcontractors.
• Maintain PCO tracking and execute change requests from inception to final.
• Support Senior PM on project compliance requirements.
• Project Compliance Coordinator; site lead for onboarding subcontractors and payment reporting.
