Job summary

Tutor Perini O&G Joint Venture in Manhattan, NY seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead construction of the Manhattan Jail Project. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and client satisfaction while coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.

You will lead all phases from pre-construction to closeout, develop plans and schedules, and mentor junior staff to deliver on time and within budget with high standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in construction project management.
• PMP or equivalent certification (preferred).
• OSHA 30 certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with building codes, contracts, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Supervise site personnel and support field operations to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site visits, safety audits, and project status meetings.
• Prepare progress reports, cost tracking, and change order documentation.
• Mentor and support junior project managers and site supervisors.
