Job summary

Tutor Perini is seeking a Project Executive for the Manhattan Jail project in midtown Manhattan. Reporting to a VP of Operations, you will oversee the P/L of a large-scale high-profile program and lead an internal team of project managers, engineers, and administrators to deliver with the highest standards.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in construction and construction management projects with relevant projects.
• Ability to organize project information, prepare reports and presentations, and interact with all departments.
• Experience leading an integrated team on large, multi-phase programs.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the P/L of a large-scale high-profile project.
• Lead an internal team of project managers, engineers, and administration as required to achieve successful project completion.
• Be responsible for the successful execution of all projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements, building codes and safety standards.
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget, on time and meeting with the highest quality and service standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Provide technical evaluations, advice and guidance.
• Communicate directly with the client.
• Review owner contract and ensure compliance.
• Manage the development of master project schedule and quality control program.
• Identify critical issues and milestones.
• Review and approve budgets and scopes with Preconstruction Department.
• Identify potential additional cost issues and forecasts accordingly.
• Ensure that safety is properly incorporated into job planning and execution.
