Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Senior Project Manager in the United States (California) to lead complex, high-value customer projects from formal handover to final acceptance, ensuring governance, budget, schedule, safety, and quality across design, procurement, delivery, installation, and commissioning.

You will coordinate with sales, Tendering, engineering, field services, and suppliers to align scope, milestones, and customer expectations, while driving risks, changes, and commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field.
• PMP certification.
• 7–10 years of project management experience in electrical power distribution, construction, mechanical systems, or a similar technical environment.
• Experience leading projects end-to-end from design through closeout.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and cash management.
• Knowledge of contract administration, change control, and risk and opportunities management.
• Technical knowledge of LV/MV electrical distribution equipment and related systems.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and site activities in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end complex projects from handover to customer acceptance.
• Develop schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans aligned with contracts.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, field services, and customers.
• Govern project execution with governance, reviews, and approvals.
• Protect safety, quality, cybersecurity, and customer satisfaction throughout delivery.
