Job summary

Kauai Mechanical in Hawaii seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial mechanical projects from award through closeout. You will own safety, quality, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction on each project, coordinating with field teams and GCs to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project buyouts, while maintaining schedules and documentation in Procore/Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical construction project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or plumbing projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of project financials and change order pricing.
• Experience with submittals, RFIs, and AIA billing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned commercial mechanical projects from award to closeout.
• Oversee safety, quality, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout processes.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate with GC/owners.
• Lead buyout, negotiate with vendors, and track long-lead items.
• Prepare monthly applications for payment and manage receivables.
