Job summary

Armstrong Builders, LLC in Maui is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead residential and commercial projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will oversee field staff, trade partners, and vendors, ensuring schedules, safety, and quality expectations are met.

Applicants should have at least seven years of construction PM experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong skills in budgeting, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience with budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications; strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of field project management, including employees, trade partners, vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain project schedules, jobsite documentation, cost reports, billing and time tracking.
• Coordinate with Safety Manager, Superintendents, Engineers and Administrators to ensure project success.

Join our team of highly successful and dedicated construction specialists for our multifaceted residential and commercial projects.

We are seeking qualified candidates for Project Manager on Maui.

• $120,000 to $140,000 / year
• Full-time

The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of field project management, including oversight of employees, trade partners, vendors and suppliers. This role involves close collaboration with the Safety Manager, General Superintendent, Supervisors, Project Engineers and Project Administrators. The Project Manager ensures the accurate monitoring and maintenance of project schedules, jobsite documentation, cost reports, billing, employee time, and correspondence.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of construction project engineering and/or project management experience (required)
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors
• Familiarity with local permitting, inspections, and building codes
• Strong experience with RFIs, submittals, and change orders

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Education does not substitute for required experience

Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety (OSHA)
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
