Job summary

AlphaHire is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial lighting and electrical projects from award through closeout. You will own schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and client communications, coordinating with contractors, designers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in lighting or related construction.
• Experience owning schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and client communication.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, electrical plans, specs, and coordination.
• Experience with electrical contractors, architects, engineers, manufacturers, or lighting designers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/CM platform experience preferred.
• Commercial project experience required; not suitable for residential.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple commercial lighting and electrical projects from award to closeout.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, contractors, design teams, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders.
• Review documents, specs, drawings, and lighting packages for complete delivery.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and records.
• Coordinate with manufacturers to track schedules, deliveries, and resolve issues.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and forecasting; identify risks and implement solutions.
• Support fixture selection and value engineering as requirements evolve.
• Resolve challenges by collaborating with teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Provide regular updates on schedules, milestones, and financials.
