Job summary

AlphaX seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial lighting and electrical projects in the Boston area, from award through closeout. You will manage schedules, budgets, client relationships, procurement, and project execution while coordinating with contractors, architects, engineers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

10+ years of project management experience on commercial lighting or electrical construction.
Experience managing projects from preconstruction to closeout with schedules and budgets.
Familiarity with electrical plans, specs, and coordination with contractors/engineers.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead commercial lighting and electrical projects from award to closeout.
Be the main contact for owners, contractors, architects, engineers, manufacturers, and vendors.
Review plans, specs, lighting packages for accurate execution.
Coordinate RFIs, submittals, changes, procurement, and docs.
Track schedules, production, and delivery; resolve issues.
Monitor financials, forecasts, and cost performance.
Identify risks and develop solutions to keep on schedule.
Support product selection and value engineering as needed.
Provide regular status updates and milestone reporting.
Manage multiple projects while maintaining client relationships and high service levels.
