Job summary

AlphaHire seeks an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial projects across healthcare, institutional, industrial, and complex environments in Michigan. You will own projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating field and office teams to ensure safety, profitability, and schedule.

The role demands strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple active projects with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, schedules and contracts.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects with oversight and proactive risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop schedules, manpower plans, procurement timelines and execution strategies.
• Coordinate electricians, foremen, subcontractors, vendors, general contractors and internal teams.
• Primary client-facing contact for project stakeholders including inspectors.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts, RFIs and submittals to ensure scope alignment.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, billing and profitability; track change orders.
• Coordinate with BIM/VDC and prefabrication teams to resolve conflicts.
• Ensure safety, quality, and on-time project delivery across Michigan.
