Job summary

Stancil Services is seeking a senior Project Manager 3 to lead complex commercial drywall and paint projects in the Charlotte area. This role combines technical construction leadership with client-facing responsibilities to deliver exceptional results and strengthen partnerships.

The PM-3 will mentor PM-1 and PM-2 staff, coordinate with field operations, and uphold safety, quality, and craftsmanship standards across projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
5+ years of progressive project-management experience in commercial drywall and paint.
Proven leadership on large-scale, multi-family, or mixed-use developments.
Strong client-facing skills with the ability to cultivate and sustain long-term partnerships.
Mastery of Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel.
Demonstrated mentorship mindset and a “lead-by-example” approach.

Responsibilities

Lead high-profile and complex commercial projects from planning to close-out.
Manage performance, budgets, schedules, and client relationships to ensure project success.
Act as the primary liaison for key builder and general-contractor partnerships.
Provide leadership and guidance to PM-1s and PM-2s through effective communication and coaching.
Partner with field operations to ensure smooth coordination between job sites and office teams.
Uphold and advance Stancil Services’ operational standards for safety, quality, and client care.
Support strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts across the Commercial Division.
Contribute to initiatives that strengthen efficiency, team performance, and customer satisfaction.
