Job summary

J. A. Watts, Inc. (JWI) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee complex projects across transportation, construction, aviation, or technology. You will lead project teams, manage scope, schedule, and cost, and ensure client satisfaction while upholding the company mission and values.

The role emphasizes high-level planning, stakeholder coordination, and performance management, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget across multi-discipline teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture or engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible project management experience in engineering, construction, or program management.
• PMI PMP or PMI-PE certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and budgeting/estimating skills.
• Experience using MS Office suite and industry-standard project management software.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface with the client and lead the project team through the entire project process.
• Responsible for high-level planning and programming analysis work including preparation of technical documents and proposals.
• Establish objectives, policies, procedures, roles and reporting structure within contract specs.
• Collaborate with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors to define work procedures and resolve issues.
• Lead opportunities for business development with existing and new clients.
