Job summary

Southern California Edison in Tulare, CA is seeking a Project Manager - New Development to oversee residential and commercial new business development projects from inception to close. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure safe, compliant execution.

The role requires strong communication, stakeholder influence, and risk management to drive on-time delivery across the SCE territory.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in project management.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; PMP credential preferred.
• Ability to integrate work across areas, manage risks and safety, and develop business plans.
• Experience managing multiple high-impact projects with tight timelines and diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytics and problem-solving to drive data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication with clients, residents, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong time-management and prioritization of many projects concurrently.
• Ethics, influence, leadership, and resilience; mentoring experience is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; DM, Click, and SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages one or more moderately complex projects with PM principles under constraints.
• Directs initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure for scope, schedule, budget.
• Leads projects by influencing stakeholders with independent decision-making.
• Collaborates with other PMs and leadership to drive projects forward.
• Manages planning, development, and execution of transmission/distribution projects.
• Drives milestones and reports on large projects including regulatory filings.
• Performs power flow and fault analyses to determine system impacts.
• Facilitates development plans, work packages, testing procedures, energization sequences.
• Protects assets and data, maintaining high standards of conduct and integrity.
