Job summary

InSite Engineering is a multidisciplinary civil engineering firm in New Jersey seeking a seasoned Project Manager. You will lead projects from scope to completion, coordinating internal teams, managing budgets and schedules, and maintaining strong client relationships across municipalities and contractors.

You will mentor staff, contribute to business development, and ensure professional delivery while upholding the firm’s standards and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Planning, or related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience managing projects and client relationships.
• Professional license such as PE/PLS/Planner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects from scope through completion with on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with attorneys, contractors, and municipalities.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and billing; identify scope changes and opportunities for additional services.
• Coordinate design and permitting with internal teams and regulatory agencies.
• Develop new business opportunities and participate in proposals and client meetings.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and promote a collaborative, professional work environment.
