Qualifications

Job Overview

A nationally recognized engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Civil Engineering to join its growing team in Cleveland, Ohio. This individual will lead and support design, permitting, project management, and client development efforts for a diverse portfolio of land development projects. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders and manage high-profile projects across multiple market sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and permitting of residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, warehouse/distribution, and mixed-use development projects.
• Manage projects from initial concept through construction and project completion.
• Oversee site/civil engineering activities, including:
• Grading and earthwork
• Utility infrastructure
• Erosion and sediment control
• Perform and oversee stormwater management design, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and SWPPP preparation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental and geotechnical professionals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for business growth.
• Participate in business development activities, proposal preparation, and client presentations.
• Support office growth initiatives and assist with resource planning and staff utilization.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership on project teams.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10+ years of site/civil engineering experience with a focus on land development projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects from concept through completion.
• Strong knowledge of:
