Shirley Contracting Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead civil construction projects in the Northern Virginia, Maryland and DC area. The role requires 5+ years of construction management, strong communication and leadership, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules.

The position is based on-site across multiple Northern Virginia locations, with competitive compensation and a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, 401K with company match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• A team player with leadership abilities.
• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan, schedule, supervise and coordinate all aspects of diverse construction projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, materials) from start to finish with schedule and budget focus.
• Supervise a team of Engineers, Interns, and staff and provide guidance as needed.
• Ensure the company’s health and safety culture, policies and requirements are met.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and colleagues.
