Qualifications

• Architectural degree and professional proficiency required.
• Ten years’ experience in production and coordination of documents across all architectural project phases, including management of public K-12 projects.
• Ability to make decisions, justify them, and involve appropriate people in decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to interact with agencies, consultants and clients.
• Ability to write and edit specifications; capability to market project capability through client interviews, public presentations, and professional publications.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and provide performance-enhancing feedback of assigned team members
• Resolve issues related to team members and consultants
• Collaborate with staff to meet project goals and objectives
• Direct communication of complex project concepts to clients, agencies, and project teams
• Write RFPs and negotiate contracts and fees with clients and consultants
• Oversee quality of project design and documents through all phases
• Review documents to ensure quality, coordination, and compliance with client standards
• Oversee and resolve issues during construction phase of projects

Education

Architectural degree from an accredited university or equivalent demonstrated proficiency
