Contract Duration: 12+ Months
Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor’s/University degree.
- 8+ years of Project Management experience with large-scale transformation projects.
- Must have Markets products knowledge (e.g., risk and controls, trade lifecycle, products, etc.)
- Experience in Big 4 consulting firms and/or large global banks or financial services companies.
- Experience with regulatory programs or consent order projects.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Experience managing inter-department dependencies (e.g., working with Compliance, Technology, Internal Audit, etc.).
- Articulate and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Extremely detail oriented and ability to both investigate deeply into content of the material but also look across the portfolio.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration across large organizations, including a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests/escalation.
- Ability to drive progress issue-by-issue and ensure deadlines are met.
- Ability to plan and organize, working well both in a team setting and independently.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in driving positive and sustained change.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically, strategically and analytically and to creatively problem solve.
What You Will Be Doing- Preparing concise Markets activity/progress reports adjusted to the audience
- Providing check and challenge on activity/progress reports by other functions
- Utilizing best practice PMO methodology (e.g., maintain plans, risk and issues, etc.) that fit stakeholders needs
- Driving end results of the project as a representative of Markets
- Facilitating remediation-related engagement with the Markets product lines
- Proactively tracking project progress against goals
- Possess the knowledge, skills and experience to be able to recognize when problems surface or potential problems are looming
- Clearly articulating problems, bringing the right people together to solve problems and knowing when it has been properly addressed and closed
- Promotes partner involvement through effectively communicating project status across a varied set of stakeholders
- Defining, teaching, and enforcing the use of good project management practices (i.e., resolving complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored and controlled)
