Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager in Norfolk, VA to ensure projects run on time and within budget while delivering safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role is customer-facing and supports a culture of excellence as Convergint grows.

You will manage projects from award through completion, coordinate procurement, set milestones, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with clients and internal teams to maximize value.

Qualifications

• PM experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire/life safety, or electronic security).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate small to medium projects from award through completion.
• Translate client needs into detailed proposals and implementation plans.
• Communicate requirements to the project team and maintain accurate status records.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and services for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Establish milestones and monitor costs; oversee potential subcontractors as needed.
