Job summary

Cherry Talent Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager in Austin, TX to lead the business side of residential projects with a strong commercial discipline. You will own budgets, schedules, cost controls, and reporting across multiple active developments, ensuring projects stay on budget and on time.

You will work closely with ownership, field operations, and cross-functional teams to optimize procurement, cost-to-complete forecasts, and process improvements as the company

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction/project management experience.
• Strong commercial, multifamily or ground-up construction background.
• Deep understanding of budgets, job costing, scheduling, and reporting.
• Experience with cost-to-complete forecasting and committed-cost tracking.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment in Austin.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets and job costs across a large portfolio of active projects.
• Review committed costs, invoices, and monthly budget reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate cost-to-complete and financial projections.
• Establish and maintain CPM schedules across multiple projects.
• Monitor project progress and provide visibility into budget and schedule performance.
• Review and validate budgets for new projects before construction begins.
• Support procurement and purchasing decisions.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve project performance.
• Collaborate with field leadership, accounting, purchasing, design, and ownership.
• Conduct job site visits and stay connected to project execution.
• Help implement and improve project management systems and processes.
• Build scalable processes as the company grows.
