Job summary

Cherry Talent Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager in Austin, TX to lead the business side of residential projects with a strong commercial discipline. You will own budgets, schedules, cost controls, and reporting across multiple active developments, ensuring projects stay on budget and on time.

You will work closely with ownership, field operations, and cross-functional teams to optimize procurement, cost-to-complete forecasts, and process improvements as the company

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction/project management experience.
• Strong commercial, multifamily or ground-up construction background.
• Deep understanding of budgets, job costing, scheduling, and reporting.
• Experience with cost-to-complete forecasting and committed-cost tracking.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment in Austin.

Responsibilities

Senior Project Manager

Location: Austin, TX
Compensation: $140,000–$160,000 base + bonus

About the Role

We're looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join a rapidly growing residential development company in Austin. While the projects are residential, this role is best suited for someone with a strong commercial background who brings a disciplined approach to budgets, scheduling, cost control, and project management. This is a fast-paced, vertically integrated operation with its own design, development, procurement, and warehousing capabilities.

This person will take ownership of the business side of the projects, working closely with the ownership team and field operations to ensure projects stay on budget and schedule.

• Experience with cost-to-complete forecasting and committed-cost tracking
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly
• Someone who is hands-on and willing to dig into the details
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Austin-based and able to work full-time in the Austin market
