Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Project Manager, Product Delivery to lead post-contract delivery for Ford Energy's Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and integrated infrastructure projects from contract to commissioning.

You will shape standardized PMO processes, playbooks, and stage-gate controls, serving as the primary interface among Sales, Service, Engineering, and Finance to ensure aligned execution.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Process Execution: Standardized post-contract delivery processes, playbooks, and stage-gate reviews for BESS projects.
• Portfolio Health: Track KPIs for project health, delivery efficiency, and financial performance.
• Tools & Systems: Use advanced program management tools and tracking systems to ensure consistent execution.
• Direct Delivery: Own execution, timeline, and commissioning of largest, complex BESS installations.
• Risk Mitigation: Conduct risk analyses and coordinate cross-functional interventions to unblock delivery pipelines.
• Technical & Operational Alignment: Interface between Sales, Service, Engineering, Finance, and external EPC contractors.
• Primary Escalation Contact: Serve as the main operational contact for customers and utilities.
• Contractual Coordination: Resolve complex contractual and scheduling issues with partners and utility reps.
• Peer Mentorship: Guide and mentor other project specialists and engineers.
