Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Project Manager, Product Delivery in Dearborn, MI to lead post-contract delivery for Battery Energy Storage Systems within Ford Energy Aftersales. You will drive standardized PMO processes and oversee the execution of the most complex deployments, guiding cross-functional teams to successful commissioning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of program management, project delivery, or PMO experience on large-scale utility, infrastructure, or energy projects.
• Strong background in post-contract execution, EPC workflows, contract management, and utility-scale deployments.
• Proven ability to influence and drive consensus across matrixed, cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Process Execution: apply standardized post-contract delivery processes and stage-gate reviews for BESS projects.
• Portfolio Health: track KPIs for project health, delivery efficiency, and financial performance across Ford Energy projects.
• Tools & Systems: use feedback on advanced PM tools to ensure consistent execution.
• Direct Delivery: be accountable for execution, timeline, and commissioning of Ford Energy's largest, most complex BESS deployments.
• Risk Mitigation: conduct risk analyses and coordinate cross-functional interventions to unblock delivery pipelines.
• Technical & Operational Alignment: act as primary interface between Sales, Service, Engineering, Finance, and external EPC contractors.
• Primary Escalation Contact: serve as the main operational contact for customers and internal leadership.
• Contractual Coordination: resolve complex contractual and scheduling issues with external partners and utility reps.
• Mentorship: provide guidance to other project specialists and engineers.
