PKF O'Connor Davies TalentConnect is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial architectural projects in NYC from concept through closeout. You will coordinate clients, consultants, contractors, and internal design teams to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality targets are met.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in architectural/project management, with strong experience in interior fit-outs, renovation, and building restoration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in architecture, interiors, engineering, or construction.
• Experience independently managing projects from design through construction.
• Experience with commercial or corporate interior projects.
• Experience with building renovation/restoration projects.
• Strong understanding of interior fit-outs and existing building conditions.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders including architects, designers, consultants, and contractors.
• Excellent client-facing communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple architectural projects from concept through closeout.
• Serve as primary client contact, communicating status, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and staffing.
• Monitor budgets, fees, and overall financial performance.
• Lead internal design teams and coordinate outside consultants.
• Oversee schematic design, design development, construction documents, specifications, and permits.
• Coordinate interior fit-out and renovation projects with building systems.
• Ensure codes, zoning, accessibility, and life-safety compliance.
