Job summary

TESSERE seeks a registered architect Project Manager to oversee client relationships and the proposal, design, budgeting, planning, and delivery of a wide range of renovation, remodel and expansion projects as well as new construction.

This production, management, and supervisory position is accountable for delivering projects on time and within budget, and reports to an architect in a leadership role responsible for a business sector.

Qualifications

• Licensed architect in at least one US state.
• 7+ years of client management experience.
• 7+ years of project leadership experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project Schedule).
• Deltek project and resource management tools preferred.
• Revit knowledge beneficial.
• NCARB certification or licensure eligible for reciprocity preferred.
• LEED credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet directly with client to analyze goals and develop architectural solutions.
• Plan project budget, milestones, schedule and track performance.
• Initiate schematic designs and prepare drawings.
• Coordinate workload through design development and construction documents.
• Direct coordination with engineering disciplines and vendors; review docs for conflicts.
• Prepare and edit owner-provided architectural specifications.
• Run project meetings, set agendas, issue minutes.
• Ensure code and accessibility compliance across multiple codes.
• Manage addenda, ASIs, RFIs, WCPRs and change orders; incorporate changes.
• Analyze and negotiate pay applications and change orders.
• Report project completion for billing and lead collections.
• Provide supervision and guidance to team members.
