Job summary

TESSERE is seeking a registered architect to lead client relationships and oversee renovation, remodel, expansion, and new construction projects. You will oversee budgeting, planning, and delivery, reporting to a leadership architect.

Qualifications

• Licensed architect in at least one US state.
• NCARB certification preferred; reciprocal licensing considered.
• Experience managing client relationships and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to analyze goals and develop architectural solutions.
• Plan budgets, milestones, and schedules and track performance.
• Develop schematic designs and prepare drawings.
• Coordinate design development through construction documents.
• Liaise with engineers and vendors; review documents for conflicts.
• Prepare and edit owner-provided architectural specifications.
• Run project meetings and issue minutes.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and accessibility requirements.
• Manage addenda, RFIs, and change orders; implement changes.
• Review pay applications and invoices; support collections as needed.
• Guide and supervise project staff.
