Job summary

Building Evolution Corporation in Worcester, MA seeks a skilled project manager to lead high‑performance building projects. You will develop technical reports, coordinate on-site inspections, and guide multidisciplinary teams to deliver energy-efficient design and operation for new and existing facilities.

The role requires a BS in engineering/architecture/construction tech and 5+ years in project management, with strong knowledge of building science and HVAC interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in engineering/architecture/construction technology or similar.
• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and team members to progress projects.
• Technical understanding of high‑performance mechanical and enclosure systems.
• Knowledge of building science, psychometrics, and HVAC interactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write reports detailing building components and energy efficiency measures.
• Conduct on-site inspections and diagnostic testing of building performance issues.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to advance projects and provide guidance.
• Support commissioning activities and field troubleshooting when needed.

Building Evolution Is Looking For a Team Member With

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, architecture, construction technology, or similar.
• 5+ years demonstrated experience in project management.
• The demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues, clients, and team members to progress projects, provide guidance, solve problems.
• Technical understanding of high-performance building of Mechanical and Enclosure systems.
• Deep understanding of building science including psychometrics as applied to building enclosures, building pressure dynamics, diagnostic testing, and interaction of HVAC and building enclosure systems.
• Develop and write reports that detail building components as well as describe energy efficiency measures to improve design and control for new and existing facilities.
• Performing on-site inspections and testing involving visual observation and diagnostic testing of building performance issues, enclosure/mechanical system failures.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems commissioning and in-field trouble shooting is beneficial.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) licensed to practice in Massachusetts
• 5+ years of licensed experience in engineering HVAC systems
