Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressive experience managing building design or construction projects.
• Active PMP Certification or scheduled to obtain within six months of contract award.
• 5+ years of project management experience as an Owner Representative.

Position Overview

Cube Root is seeking a Senior Project Manager to serve as an Owner’s Representative and support our team on small projects nationwide, typically under $10M, focused on mechanical and electrical systems work.

Responsibilities

• Act as Owner’s Representative overseeing project completion.
• Manage all aspects of project management including estimating, scheduling, design management, bid phase, constructability reviews, project accounting, and contract management.
• Ensure projects meet owner design and engineering requirements and standards.
• Advocate for the owner and coordinate with designers, contractors, and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, interior design, or related field.
• Active PMP Certification or scheduled to obtain within six months of contract award; must provide exam date at award.
• 5‑7+ years of progressive experience managing building design/construction projects for commercial, government, educational, etc.
• 5+ years of project management experience directly managing Design and Construction Projects as an Owner Representative, with demonstrated experience managing designers and contractors.
