Job summary

VSP Vision Care is seeking an experienced Project Manager in the United States to lead large, complex initiatives from scope through closure. You will coordinate scope, resources, schedule, budget and risk to meet goals while establishing governance with key stakeholders.

You will develop cost‑benefit analyses, ROI forecasts, project charters, risk analyses and schedules, and you will mentor other project managers, communicating clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration or related field.
• 4+ years leading all aspects of large complex projects.
• 4+ years experience with standard project management methodology, tools, and software.
• Demonstrated ability as a core decision-maker balancing business issues.
• Ability to drive results through informal authority and consult key business partners.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from Senior Management and other departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to convey information to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
• Ability to identify, develop, and gather resources to complete a project.
• Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment.

• Responsible for identifying, planning and managing scope, resources, schedule, budget and risk required to meet goals of large complex projects.
• Lead the development of cost-benefit analysis, return on investment forecasts, project proposals, project charters, risk analysis, project schedules, and ensure actual results are tracked for large complex projects
• Performs appropriate scope analysis and lessons learned
• Develops and manages project schedules
• Identifies and establishes stakeholders and appropriate project governance
• Identifies appropriate project team resources and ensures appropriate staff are secured
• Develops and manages project budgets
• Clearly communicates roles and expectations to project teams

• Proven ability to effectively understand and communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals or groups at all levels of the organization

• Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job‑related factors permitted by law. As a part of the compensation package, this role may include eligible bonuses and commissions.

Salary Ranges: $63,000.00 - $108,675.00
