Job summary

Thor is seeking a Senior Project Manager, MEP to lead complex MEP delivery for nationwide data center and industrial projects. You will drive MEP design development, estimating, procurement and construction, coordinating engineering teams to maintain alignment with scope, budget and schedule.

The role requires ownership of MEP scope and effective collaboration across engineering, commercial and field teams to deliver high-quality, safe outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline.
• Professional registration required.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, subcontractor management and construction delivery.
• Experience with data centers, advanced technology, manufacturing or other complex industrial projects.
• Ability to own MEP scope and collaborate across engineering, commercial and field teams.

A 60+ year-old national design-builder is looking for a Senior Project Manager, MEP to join its team delivering complex projects across the U.S.

The company operates across data centers, advanced technology, manufacturing and other technically demanding markets, with design, engineering, construction, specialty equipment and automation capabilities under one platform.

The Role

• Lead MEP delivery from design development and estimating through procurement and construction.
• Coordinate design and engineering teams to keep MEP scope aligned with project requirements, cost and schedule.
• Review subcontractor proposals, negotiate scope and contracts, and support subcontract awards.
• Manage MEP procurement, submittals, shop drawings, changes and payment applications.
• Track MEP cost and schedule while working closely with the Project Manager, design team and field leadership.
• Review installed MEP work for quality, scope and compliance.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety throughout MEP construction.
